Expedition has completed successful Visitor Friendly Assessments in many communities including Camrose, Mountainview County, Olds, Sundre, David Thompson Country, Sylvan Lake, and Lac La Biche. Each of these projects included the development of a comprehensive situational analysis, site visit and photography, community assessment and practical action plan that took into consideration the ambiance, way-finding and signage, quality of service, availability of public services and visitor information of each community.
Each community was systematically assessed by the consultant team utilizing criteria in each of the five visitor friendly categories. Clients appreciated having “fresh eyes” on their destination in order to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Utilizing the detailed action plans established through the projects, our Clients have successfully introduced many new initiatives that have improved visitor friendliness in their communities.
